1937 Jamboree at Vogelzang
We received this information about the Jamboree from Drew Easton who said that his father Duncan Easton was one of the 27 (out of 35) successful applicants to go to the 5th World Jamboree in Holland in 1937, which he greatly enjoyed. He said the Dutch were particularly enamoured by the kilts and the sound of the bagpipes. There are several newscasts from the time which he recommend you watch and perhaps signpost for all to watch.
