About the Alan Ramsay Routes
The document about the Red Route was issued by East Lothian County Council...why I do not know, but an abbreviated narrative version of it was used for guidance during the walk.......it should be noted that we did not manage to follow the instructions and got confused much of the time.
As a word of advice it is simpler to go right down one side, and then cross the river and come up the other side
I could not find any description on the web of the Blue route
