In 1975 the Scouts of the 4th Frederiksberg Scout Troop visited us and were shown around Scotland by our Scouts and Scouters. We have just been given their slides (45) of the visit, and they have been loaded onto the website in the 1975 Scout Activities.
It was decided to try to arrange a quarterly get together of Ex Scouts and Scouters just for a chat.
This is a meeting for old Scouts and Scouters of the 9th Braid (Morningside) to get together organised by the 9th Group Archive Team. Nigel who is in charge of the Physical records can be persuaded to bring some interesting old photographs or objects to the meeting, and in the future we may be able to display items from the on-line archive on the big screen at Myreside if anyone wants it.
2024 01 12 Quarterly Get Together
Nigel brought an old folder of photographs which had been carefully built up by Geoff Bulmer over the years with over 150 old photographs which were not on the website. They mainly cover the period 1930 to 1950. They will be up on the Website soon.
